Description
Gwen is a character of my friend ^^ She uploaded this illustration of her (tsumerokaro.deviantart.com/art… and somehow I got the feeling that I wanted to draw her too. So I asked for a colour reference and here's the result~
Actually I'm not quite satisfied. The anatomy sucks at some parts and the shading doesn't look half as impressive as I wanted it to be - but well, that just means I need more training
I hope you like it!

Beautiful work! I love the way you did the hair, the shading on it is goregous!
I would not worry too much about the anatomy, it takes a lot of time and practice to really get it 'perfect'. But you are realling getting it down so far- the only small things would be, as already mentioned, the arm length and possibly the torso length. I feel the torso is a little long, but it is hardly noticable until you really start trying to measure things up with your fingers.
As for shading- I think you did an amazing job on it! Especially in the clothing. The values are a little soft, mostly in the skin. Definitely play with darkening areas and playing with different shades of colors for skin shading.
